Story 2

Story 3

It was a rainy afternoon, and Mark had been sleeping since afternoon. After medicine he usually sleeps for a long, when he got up with the sound of the alarm at 4:50 pm, It was a little bit darker due to, the cloudy weather.

Mark thought and said to himself “Maybe Sarah will not come its heavily raining outside.”

He turned to his brother Sam,”

Mark: What do you think? will Sarah be able to come today as it is heavily raining outside?

Sam: Bro it’s not yet 5 pm, usually she comes after 5 pm only, so she may come late, But i am, sure she will turn up. I know one important thing of the day is chatting with you as she is dedicated to completing her book. Moreover, her father has to go to his restaurant at the same time so he will surely drop her, as he always does. Before 5 or 5:15, I am sure she will be here.

Sam knows that one of the main reasons for Mark getting fast recovery, is his being happy when Sarah is around, and even the doctor has advised him to keep him in a happy mood.

at times it is Sam who has requested Sarah’s father to bring her, in the evening if possible, so he was quite sure about the arrival of Sarah.

Sam could see the desperation on Mark’s face, for Sarah, he knew they had become best buddies now, and Sarah enjoyed and dedicatedly updated her travel diary.

Mark: Sam! For today, I don’t have any destination to tell her about and I am supposed to tell her about a new destination today.

Remember Sagorika Aunty was about to tell me about Dubai, I called her as well, but she didn’t pick up the call when I called her in the morning.

Sam: Don’t worry brother Today I will pitch in, and share my experience of my Dubai trip, when I went to some expo last year, hope you remember I got so many chocolates and dates for you though it was an official visit. But I did good research before going there on it and can share my experience, with you guys.

Just then Sarah accompanied by her father Raj, enters the room.

Sarah and Mark exchanged greetings and Sam had some words with Mr Raj, who was in a hurry to go to his restaurant left Sarah and told her that he would pick her up by 7 in the evening.

now Sarah and Mark started talking.

Sarah: Mark, after the enchanting tales of Bora Bora and Santorini, I’m curious to hear about Dubai, the next destination you said you would tell me about.

Mark: today brother Sam will tell us about his visit to Dubai.

With this Sam as requested started his story about the Dubai visit

Sam: Dubai was an absolute marvel, Gusy. Let me take you on a journey through this extraordinary destination.

Sarah: I can’t wait! When’s the best time to visit Dubai?

Sam: Well, Dubai’s climate can be quite hot, so the best time to visit is during the cooler months, from November to April. The weather is pleasant, making it ideal for outdoor exploration. I was there in the month of December.

Sarah: Perfect! What should I do first when I visit Dubai?

Sarah: It was just a try, thank you!, Ok What else can I explore?

Sam: You must visit the Dubai Mall, located right next to the Burj Khalifa. It’s not just a shopping destination; it’s a world of entertainment, with attractions like the Dubai Aquarium and the Dubai Ice Rink.

Sarah: That sounds like a shopper’s paradise. But what about the cultural side of Dubai?

Al Fahidi district or Al Bastakiya- historic

Sam: Don’t worry, Dubai has that too. The historic Al Fahidi district, also known as Al Bastakiya, offers a glimpse into Dubai’s heritage. You can explore the narrow lanes, visit museums, and experience traditional Emirati architecture.

Sarah: That’s intriguing! Now, tell me about the food in Dubai.

Dubai’s food – diverse and delightful

Sam: Dubai’s food scene is diverse and delightful. You must try shawarma from a local street vendor. It’s a flavorful Middle Eastern wrap. And for a more luxurious experience, indulge in a seafood feast at Pierchic, a restaurant located at the end of a pier.

Sarah: Shawarma and seafood—got it! Any other culinary delights?

Shawarma, baklava and Kunafa

Sam: Absolutely! You can’t leave Dubai without trying camel meat. It’s a delicacy served in various forms, such as burgers and kebabs. Also, don’t miss out on Arabian sweets like baklava and Kunafa. Do you know? Baklava and Kunafa are traditional Arabic sweets that are often served during Ramadan or other festive occasions. Baklava is made of layers of filo pastry filled with chopped nuts and soaked in honey or syrup. Kunafa is made of shredded wheat dough or vermicelli-like noodles filled with cheese or cream and topped with nuts and syrup.

Do’s and dont’s in Dubai

Sam: One tip is to dress modestly, especially when visiting cultural sites. Also, respect local customs, and avoid public displays of affection. And remember, Dubai’s weekend falls on Friday and Saturday, so plan your activities accordingly.

Sarah: Good advice! How many days do you think are enough for a visit to Dubai?

Sam: Ideally, a 4 to 5-day trip should give you enough time to explore the major attractions, enjoy some leisure, and immerse yourself in the city’s culture.

Sarah: That’s helpful to know. Dubai truly seems like a city of wonders and contrasts. Thanks for sharing this incredible destination with me, Sam!

Sam: You’re welcome, Sarah! Dubai is a place where luxury meets innovation, and I hope you get to experience its magic soon. This might help you in writing your travel diary from others mouths, I wish you all the best for your work and your painting is incredible.

Mark was listening eagerly and was ready to drop some conclusion to this story. she said
